Where:  Track @ Duke of Connaught P.S.

Why:  To bring together the community in a fun event and raise funds for the Foundation.

How:  The goal will be for children to obtain sponsorship per lap that they ride (or flat donation) and they will challenge themselves to ride at least the number of laps that correspond to their age.  Parents will be required to assist their children during the ride.

Other Details:  The timing of the the event is meaningful because it corresponds with Noah’s birthday (September 6, 2011).  The event will be held annually on the Saturday after Labour Day.  The location and type of event is also meaningful because Noah spent many evenings and weekends riding his bike and scooter around the track.  Let’s keep on rolling!

Note:  There is no registration fee; however, the suggested minimum fundraising amount is $100 per participant or $150 per family.

A wonderful Leslieville reno project

August 31, 2015 at 12:26 am

There have been many renovation projects throughout the Leslievile area. Some of the work on homes is very simple and quich. Gut the old plaster and board and install new drywall. Redo the kitchen so its updated and boom the house is back on the market in about six or eight months.

One Leslieville project that takes things to another level was featured in the National Post almost one year ago. These great looking project is still online via the link. This reno was not some simple quick flip project its a big project that turned an old industrial space in a family home. It does show everyone that you can create a beautiful space in Toronto east end.
